COMPOSITING & SOUND DESIGN
In today’s modern world, there is as much demand for sound design as there is for commercially released music, both of which I am well versed. No matter the brief, I can craft a beautiful product for any company or project. Please do not hesitate to reach out for specific references and examples of my previous projects.
MUSICAL DIRECTION
Making an album is hard. Creating a live show can be even harder. My experience from touring with The Pet Shop Boys, Erasure and Keane, gave me the tools to help others who are looking to nail down a solid live performance. Getting your music from the studio to an arena stage requires very specific tools and stage craft that I can adapt to your wants and needs. I will work to coordinate with managers, touring agencies, labels, and of course the artist’s vision to integrate all needs and wants to create a sustainable, effective and above all, exciting tour/show.
DJ & PERFORMANCE
I first started DJing Drum and Bass when I was 13 years old. Although not widely known as a DJ, I have played around the world, spinning the ones and twos. I enjoy playing everything from Funky House to Garage and Two-Step due to my South London roots. But I can craft a set that fits the occasion too. I am fluent in real vinyl mixing and multi deck CDJ mixing.
SONG WRITING
I first began songwriting at the age of 16. It’s been one of my more personal endeavors as almost every song I write is drawn from an actual personal experience. This, for me, is the best way to write, because honesty brings a realness that listeners truly relate to.
MIXING
I believe mixing is about perspective. When one sits in the studio for weeks or months at a time, working on a track, a new set of ears is invaluable. I can either work with restraint and make minute, subtle changes or if you are really stuck on a project, I can offer my own creative take on your track. My mixing duties cover any genre of music wether it is just solely music or music to picture.
MUSIC PRODUCTION
Whether an up-and-coming independent artist, or a fully-fledged established pop singer, I will whole heartedly meet your demands and expectations accordingly. From radio singles, to docu-dramas and MMO’s, I am seasoned in all genres and will deliver a product that is both competitive and unique.
REMIXING
I love remixing as it’s an opportunity to collaborate with an act in a totally unique way. I have created many remixes throughout my career and it is a real treat to get to work on them.
VOCAL PRODUCTION & EDITING
Behind every great song, there’s a great vocal. I am obsessed with vocal production as I have recorded and produced my own vocal, as well as many others, over the last 19 years. The human voice transcends language and genre, therefore it is critical to deliver an honest, emotive and believable performance. Depending on your requirements, my process includes in room/online direction, precision tuning, comping, arranging and a key focus on the physical delivering coming from the singer. Every singer is different and I focus in on those unique qualities and make them flourish.
